We aimed to rev up excitement for the UK’s biggest family fundraising festival with year-round PR, standout media coverage and unforgettable press experiences that brought CarFest’s seven festivals in one to life.

02 — Creative process

We structured this year-long project into three clear phases -Pre-Event, On-Site and Post-Event to deliver continuous visibility and a seamless media journey.

Pre-Event
We developed a comprehensive PR strategy, complete with a detailed weekly plan, to build momentum. This included refining media and influencer lists across national, regional, consumer, broadcast and digital outlets, with tailored outreach for each CarFest zone. Acting as the festival’s press office, we issued regular releases announcing ticket sales, talent, partnerships and festival updates, while securing interviews and features in top-tier media.

On-Site
We managed all media and influencer activity, coordinating interviews, live broadcasts and guided tours. The media tent served as a professional hub for press and photographers, while our team captured shareable content, delivered live updates and ensured consistent sponsor messaging throughout the weekend.

Post-Event
We issued a comprehensive post-event release highlighting attendance, fundraising results and standout moments, supported by curated photography and video. Post-event reviews and coverage were secured across national and regional outlets, with full reporting on reach and sentiment, cementing CarFest’s position as an unmissable family festival.
